      Description

      Dear coachers

      We have received the following issue:

      "Hello!
      I am contacting you on behalf of Nemetschek company - we are executing a project funded by FRACTALS and have a community account on FIWARE Lab:

      We have the following problem: one of my colleagues - the Team Leader of the software development team has a personal account, through which he has access to the company account. The problem is that his account expired and now he doesn't have access to any of the company resources on FIWARE. This is a big problem for us and stops all our work
      which has very strict deadlines for project reporting. So our problem is really URGENT.

      I am attaching you the e-mail he received from your system regarding his account:

      Please assist us as soon as possible to fix this problem - we need instructions how to activate his account again - make it community?

      This is a very serious problem for us because maybe soon the other developers will also be in the same situation - they have the same accounts.

      Please get in touch with me as soon as possible and give me instructions how to proceed.

          Did you receive the comment from Henar on this ticket 10 days ago? She was asking "what is the error? how are they doing it?"

          She already added Valentin (vnaoumov@nemetschek.b) to the cloud resources for you, so he should be able to access the resources now. Can you let us know what error you are getting?

          As you can see from Henar's comment, she already added Valentin (vnaoumov@nemetschek.b) to the cloud resources for Tanya, so he should be able to access the resources now.

          Please let us know what the error is.

          We created new account for Valentin but couldn't add him to the community account with his new account.

          Has Valentin been able to access the company resources after Henar's changes to Tanya's community account?

          The important thing is having the account you are using (as organization) as community. Community account means that resoures are not deleted.

          Thank you very much for your help.

          We will check if Valentin can access the resources now. I am hoping they created the resources with Tanya'a account and not with Valentin's.

          Regarding your earlier comment, shouldn't there be a mechanism to keep the accounts of all the team member associated with a community account safe from deletion? In the guidelines, the SMEs to apply for only one community account, then add the trial/basic accounts of other team members to the cloud organization:
          http://forge.fiware.org/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fiware/index.php/FIWARE_Lab:_Upgrade_to_Community_Account#How_can_authorize_other_users_to_use_my_cloud_resources.3F

          There is no warnings about not keeping the team member accounts on other nodes, so we assumed there is a mechanism to protect them as well. This could be a serious issue, in some cases leading SMEs to lose resources created by the team members that are added tot he community account. Do you know anything about this? Who should we raise this issue with?

          If vnaoumov@nemetschek.bg was community only in Budapest, only resources in Budapest were kept. These means that all resources in Spain2 were deleted when the trial account expired. Thus, what should we can provide? I can give access to Spain2 as community too, but current resources in Spain2 will not be there. Tell me what you think.

          Can we get your help for this SME from the FRACTALS accelerator?

          As a summary, they had a community account for tpeneva@nemetschek.bg on the Budapest node. Then they added other team members such as Valentin (vnaoumov@nemetschek.bg) to the cloud organization for the community account. One thing to note is Valentin's trial account was on the Spanish node.

          It seems after a few months, Valentin received a notification that his trial account is expiring. So after a while longer his account expired and now he is not able to restore it, and Nemetschek team could not add him back to the community account.

          Could you kindly check what could be the issue? I assigned the ticket to the Spanish node, and the not the Budapest node, as Valentin's account seems to have been on the Spanish node. (see the email he got in the attached word doc int he original ticket HELC-1034)
