      Description

Web Browser: Google Chrome version 38.0.2125.104
      Operating System: OSX version 10.9.3
      User id: wirecloud
      Priority: 3

      Description:

If we go the marketplace and want to make use of the finder filter we can
see it does not work as we expected.

For instance, we wanted to filter by the word ‘city’ and there were two
widgets as result. One of them had the word ‘city’ on its name but the
other one had nothing to do with to word ‘city’. See the image ‘Marketplace
finder filter does not work properly_1’ for more detail.

      How to replicate:

      1 Log in Fi-lab
      2 Go to Mashup
      3 Click on ‘Marketplace’
4 Type ‘city’ in the finder filter

In this case, the JurasicAPP appears in the results because the word "city" appears in the contents of the JurasicAPP's USDL (http://130.206.81.113/FiwareRepository/v1/storeOfferingCollection/storedatatesting__JurassicApp__1.0.0).

In my opinion, searches are working correctly in the sense that Wirecloud returns what the Marketplace finds and the search engine of the Marketplace is working (although it can give better results).

Anyway, the marketplace team is working on improving the search engine (see APP-144). Once implemented these improvements in the marketplace GE, WireCloud will be updated for making searching in the marketplace view less painful.
