There is a lot of information on the FIWARE website: http://www.fi-ware.org/.

In general FIWARE offers three elements of special interest:

• The FIWARE catalogue (http://catalogue.fi-ware.org/enablers), where you can get access to all the Generic Enablers (GE); all of them have open and royalty-free specifications to avoid vendor lock-in; there is at least one reference implementation of all of them in open source; from the catalogue you can check all the documents and also download the SW if you wish:
• The other possibility is accessing FIWARE GE (Generic Enablers) as a service. For that we have created an innovation environment called FIWARE Lab (https://account.lab.fi-ware.org/), that is completely free; however, only intended to be used for experimentation and validation purposes, not for business.
• Then, we have set up an e-learning platform (http://edu.fi-ware.org/) where developers can access many learning resources on FIWARE: videos, tutorials and SCORM-based courses for professional training. All this is complemented by a wide umbrella of events where we are disseminating FIWARE and periodic boot camps (full technical training on FIWARE GE) that we co-organized with Start Up Week-end events in many EU countries.
