FIWARE.Request.Tech.Apps.ApplicationMashup.MashupMissingDependencies

    Details

    • HD-Chapter:
      Apps
    • HD-Enabler:
      Wirecloud

      Description

Web Browser: Mozilla Firefox, v. 33
      Operating System: Windows 8
      User id: storedata.test.ulpgc@gmail.com

      Description

After you download and install a mashup offering, some mashups require you
to install some dependencies in order to work. It only happens for one
widget, so we think something was lost during the offering upload.

      How to replicate.

Download a mashup affected by this issue as usual. We tested with
      “Sevilla-test”.
Go to Mashup->Marketplace and install that mashup as usual.
Click on Mashup to go to the Workspace and then click on “Add”. Select your
mashup and you will see the error.

See the attached image for details.

        Hi,

this is the expected behaviour, Wirecloud complains if some dependencies
are missing. Anyway, mashups providers can embed widgets/operators used in
mashup packages so the idea is to take care that any mashup offering
published in FIWARE Lab provide all required resources. In this regard, the
Sevilla-test offering is not available any more (not worth fixing).

        Best regards,
        Álvaro
