      Description

      Hi,
      Today I cannot access to one of my VM.

      The VM is deployed in Spain2, the instance name is "RADICAL_VM_BRIDGE" it's a Debian 8, and their IPs are:

      192.168.240.26
      130.206.115.29

      I cannot connect by http (it has nginx installed) neither by SSH

      I tried to stop an start the VM thought the FIWARE web portal, but the task doesn't work. I execute a "Stop instance" few minutes ago and his status still "ACTIVE" and his task is "powering-off"

      Attached a screenshot.

      [cid:image003.jpg@01D19952.4B2AA8F0]

      Can you help me? How I can restart this VM? This VM works last Friday.

      Best regards;
      Miquel

        Hi Jose Ignacio,

        We have not heard back from you regarding Miquel's questions above. Btw, we are thinking it might be simpler to change the community account holder from Nadia to Miquel instead (i.e. instead of trying to change the owner of the VMs or downloading uploading snapshots, etc.)

        The original community account was created for user nadia.politou@atos.net, see FLUA-2384 .
        Can we change it to be on Miquel's user id instead? so we can continue to preserve the VMs he has in his account without the fear for expiration?

        Thanks in advance for your help,

        ilknur

        Hi all,
        We update “npolitou cloud” privileges and now I can view it into the left menu.

        [cid:image002.png@01D19FB6.79E77050]

        I create a snapshot of a VM created in the “mmilaprat cloud” but I’m unable to use it in the “npolitou cloud”, how I can use this snapshot in “npolitou cloud”?

        Best regards;
        Miquel

        Hi,

        Before to create snapshots of my 2 VM. I understand that I must create a snapshot per VM and after that create new VM into the community, but if I check the list of projects available into the "Project" Menu section in the left menu (attached a screnshoot) I only see my own project "mmilaprat cloud". How I can choose the "community" project?

        Thanks Jose. Could you share with Miquel some instructions on how to do this?

        Also, I assume the IP addresses would not stay the same after this change, correct?

        Thanks,

        Hi,

        You (we) can't change the VM owner. You could crete a new VM from a Snapshot (thus there would no need to migrate the VM).

        Regards,
        José Ignacio.

        Hi Jose,

        Actually we have one more question. These VMs were created by Miquel using his personal fiware lab account, but before creating these VMs he was added by Nadia to a community account for RADICAL project (i.e. by user nadia.politou@atos.net, see FLUA-2384).

        How can we associate these VMs with the RADICAL project community account? Can you help us with this as well while migrating the VMs?

        Thanks & kind regards,

        ilknur

        Hi José,
        You can migrate our hosts, but I have questions:

        · You are going to move to another node inside the Spain2?

        · we are going to lose the current IPs?

        · Can you advise me before to start the migration?

        Best regards;
        Miquel
