      Description

      I’m quoting the FARM@ project:
      “Hi,
      we are part of the FRACTALS accelerator, with project name FARM@, and we
      have a community account on FIWARE Lab (fiware@ingsoftware.com <fiware@ingsoftware.com>).

      We still did not receive access to new node (Prague) and that is a big problem for us. Our application was hosted on PiraeusN node and now we need that VM migrated to Prague node.
      Can you please check when will this migration be finished, our deadline to finish the project is very soon.

          "I deployed temporal-image instance again and now I can access it with browser.
          BUT, it seams that this is not the image with our application from PireousN node, because now there is JBoss installed (http://130.206.118.191:8080/) which we never install (we used tomcat instead).
          ALSO, I can't connect to the machine via SSH using ppk key and root username.

          Contacted SME offline to check if they can access the VM now.

          Will close the ticket if we don't hear back from them in the next few days.

          The user instantiated the VM but is not able to connect to it through ssh. He already opened port 22.

          The VM image for this user has been moved to the Spain node. Now they need to deploy an instance from this image. contacted the SME.

          Could you kindly assist this Fractals accelerator SME (FARM@ project) to migrate from their VMs from the PiraeusN to Spain node? Alfonso recommended to proceed this way.

          Since they are on a very tight deadline, and are already quite delayed due to the migration, your timely support would be much appreciated.

          This request is about migration from PiraeusU to Prague node. Usually, the receiving nodes help the users with the migrations. But I will double check this with Alfonso and Giuseppe for your specific case.

          Dear Ilknur, it isn't clear to me what is being requested here.

          I've checked the Keystone account associated with "fiware@ingsoftware.com", and the Prague node was not listed as one of the allowed regions. This is a trivial change that any administrative account can perform; there is no need to file a ticket and wait for our collaboration. I've added the Prague region to the list of regions that the user can now access.

          If the request is about increasing the allocated quota, please file an appropriate form and we'll process that request.

          If this is about performing the VM migration on behalf of the user, please be advised that we are currently not beneficiaries of any project with a budget for an advanced user support. Therefore we do not have manpower for taking care of migrating the users' VMs. Our suggestion is that the users use native OpenStack tools for performing the migration on a self-service basis, or to get in touch with us to discuss a commercial level support.
