      Description

      Hello,

      I am unable to associate a floating IP to an instance in the Gent region.
      The FIWARE Lab account I’m using: itudemobile@gmail.com (recently turned into a community account)
      Floating IPs I’ve gotten from the public-ext-net-03 floating IP pool: 193.190.127.195 & 193.190.127.198

      Can you help me with my problem?

        Dear Ricardo,

        We have been checking and there is missing all the network configuration to be able to have external access. Please follow the next instructions to create resources and servers in order:

        1- Create a private network with dhcp enabled.
        2- Create a router.
        3- Assign a public gateway to the router.
        4- Assign a new interface to your router with the private network.
        5- Configure Security groups. (For ping icmp,0,0,0.0.0.0/0)
        5- Create instances with the network interface on the private network.
        6- Associate a floating ip to the instance

        Hello,

        I was able to successfully allocate a Floating IP to my instance in Gent after following the instructions that were provided in HELP-4076. (Many thanks!)
        However, I sometimes am not able to reach the instance via the Floating IP with either SSH or ping.

        Is this because of maintenance of faulty network settings in my FIWARE Lab Cloud?
        Could someone take a look at my settings to check if I haven’t forgotten anything?

        After checking, Network is working fine also you private router. Which are the settings of you firewall (security groups)?
