Thank you for this input. The option to have a representative of the accelerators project is indeed preferable to me. In my view, having two speakers is not viable. One speaker with a slot of 20 minutes (+10 min Q&A) would cover a topic in more detail thus be of better use to audience and potential applicants. Two speakers, covering two topics in half the time the other speakers have will not do and will look bad. Covering the costs for two speakers is also outside our budget for this event. As I suggested previously – we can consider a dedicated event in 2016.

In this case I would kindly ask you to include in the correspondence the person you nominate from the accelerators project so we could wrap up the logistics and finalize the program (including presentation title/topic).

Thank you again for your help. I will be looking forward to your reply, as we need to have the program and details ready by Wednesday (11 Sep) so we could launch the invitation campaign.

She won’t be able to attend, but we have other 2 possible speakers that are great for your event!! With a very nice approach ☺ (that I explain below)

We’ll see if who can be there (we hope) to represent FIWARE and can cover the speech you propose.

The person from FIWARE is Mr. Cvetan Stefanovski from www.adminotech.com<http://www.adminotech.com> but he’s confirming whether he can make it or not, and another person is also able to attend.

In the case we have two people available one is from FIWARE and the other is from the accelerators project https://www.fiware.org/accelerators/ , that would fit perfectly in your panel to talk about “real opportunities”. The talks would be different: one to talk about FIWARE and the Open source community and the other from one of the accelerators projects - giving a view on how they got engaged, from an entrepreneurs view point, let’s say.

In that case, are you willing to invite two people? Do you think you would like to have that option, or not?

Also, I’m not sure if you have a slot in your agenda and if you are willing to have two people. This is just to help you, on our side it will be good whatever you decide is best for the event. Don’t understand me wrong, please.

In my view one representative will suffice, as it is viewed as an “introduction” opportunity. Eventually, we could organize a dedicated event, hosted by the science and technology park (next year, when the park is operational).

We can cover the cost for the travel (plane tickets) and the hotel – your representative is advised to stay at the Hilton hotel, where the event will take place. In our experience these costs should not exceed 800 euro which is within our budget.

Please let me know if this is OK on your side.

Thank you for this prompt reply. I am sending attached a draft program, which can indicate for you the general idea. The targeted audience encompasses startups and SMEs, the Bulgarian SME agency (the 1st panel will be moderated by their representative), relevant institutional representation (special guests from the Ministry of economy and Ministry of energy), branch associations representatives, representatives from thematic clusters (ICT cluster, for example), NGOs, engineers and architects, university management representatives and representatives from the Bulgarian Academy of science.

What I envisage as FIWARE participation is a speaker who will introduce the initiative, plus information about the profile of the companies (startups) FIWARE targets and the benefits for such companies, described shortly. Please refer to the attached draft program to see when the planned slot for the presentation is. The FIWARE representative will have the opportunity to meet with business, academia, NGO and institutions representatives formally and possibly in an informal manner should they decide to schedule meetings ouside the program/event. There is a Q&A session following the last presentation of the panel.

This is an introduction opportunity for FIWARE in my view. The format of the event is meant to put a focus on awareness raising on opportunities and practical experience shared (2nd panel). If we deliver on this firs mutual initiative we can consider organizing future events where FIWARE can be presented with opportunities to present to selected business audience, participate in thematic workshops to better visualize its practices and mechanism and present at B2B and thematic events from the calendar of Sofia Tech Park for 2016.

Thank you for this input. The option to have a representative of the accelerators project is indeed preferable to me. In my view, having two speakers is not viable. One speaker with a slot of 20 minutes (+10 min Q&A) would cover a topic in more detail thus be of better use to audience and potential applicants. Two speakers, covering two topics in half the time the other speakers have will not do and will look bad. Covering the costs for two speakers is also outside our budget for this event. As I suggested previously – we can consider a dedicated event in 2016.

In this case I would kindly ask you to include in the correspondence the person you nominate from the accelerators project so we could wrap up the logistics and finalize the program (including presentation title/topic).

Thank you again for your help. I will be looking forward to your reply, as we need to have the program and details ready by Wednesday (11 Sep) so we could launch the invitation campaign.

We’ll see if who can be there (we hope) to represent FIWARE and can cover the speech you propose.

The person from FIWARE is Mr. Cvetan Stefanovski from www.adminotech.com <http://www.adminotech.com> but he’s confirming whether he can make it or not, and another person is also able to attend.

In the case we have two people available one is from FIWARE and the other is from the accelerators project https://www.fiware.org/accelerators/ , that would fit perfectly in your panel to talk about “real opportunities”. The talks would be different: one to talk about FIWARE and the Open source community and the other from one of the accelerators projects - giving a view on how they got engaged, from an entrepreneurs view point, let’s say.

In that case, are you willing to invite two people? Do you think you would like to have that option, or not?

Also, I’m not sure if you have a slot in your agenda and if you are willing to have two people. This is just to help you, on our side it will be good whatever you decide is best for the event. Don’t understand me wrong, please.

In my view one representative will suffice, as it is viewed as an “introduction” opportunity. Eventually, we could organize a dedicated event, hosted by the science and technology park (next year, when the park is operational).

We can cover the cost for the travel (plane tickets) and the hotel – your representative is advised to stay at the Hilton hotel, where the event will take place. In our experience these costs should not exceed 800 euro which is within our budget.

The targeted audience encompasses startups and SMEs, the Bulgarian SME agency (the 1st panel will be moderated by their representative), relevant institutional representation (special guests from the Ministry of economy and Ministry of energy), branch associations representatives, representatives from thematic clusters (ICT cluster, for example), NGOs, engineers and architects, university management representatives and representatives from the Bulgarian Academy of science.

What I envisage as FIWARE participation is a speaker who will introduce the initiative, plus information about the profile of the companies (startups) FIWARE targets and the benefits for such companies, described shortly. Please refer to the attached draft program to see when the planned slot for the presentation is. The FIWARE representative will have the opportunity to meet with business, academia, NGO and institutions representatives formally and possibly in an informal manner should they decide to schedule meetings ouside the program/event. There is a Q&A session following the last presentation of the panel.

This is an introduction opportunity for FIWARE in my view. The format of the event is meant to put a focus on awareness raising on opportunities and practical experience shared (2nd panel). If we deliver on this firs mutual initiative we can consider organizing future events where FIWARE can be presented with opportunities to present to selected business audience, participate in thematic workshops to better visualize its practices and mechanism and present at B2B and thematic events from the calendar of Sofia Tech Park for 2016.

Thank you for this input. The option to have a representative of the accelerators project is indeed preferable to me. In my view, having two speakers is not viable. One speaker with a slot of 20 minutes (+10 min Q&A) would cover a topic in more detail thus be of better use to audience and potential applicants. Two speakers, covering two topics in half the time the other speakers have will not do and will look bad. Covering the costs for two speakers is also outside our budget for this event. As I suggested previously – we can consider a dedicated event in 2016.

In this case I would kindly ask you to include in the correspondence the person you nominate from the accelerators project so we could wrap up the logistics and finalize the program (including presentation title/topic).

Thank you again for your help. I will be looking forward to your reply, as we need to have the program and details ready by Wednesday (11 Sep) so we could launch the invitation campaign.

We’ll see if who can be there (we hope) to represent FIWARE and can cover the speech you propose.

The person from FIWARE is Mr. Cvetan Stefanovski from www.adminotech.com<http://www.adminotech.com> but he’s confirming whether he can make it or not, and another person is also able to attend.

In the case we have two people available one is from FIWARE and the other is from the accelerators project https://www.fiware.org/accelerators/ , that would fit perfectly in your panel to talk about “real opportunities”. The talks would be different: one to talk about FIWARE and the Open source community and the other from one of the accelerators projects - giving a view on how they got engaged, from an entrepreneurs view point, let’s say.

In that case, are you willing to invite two people? Do you think you would like to have that option, or not?

Also, I’m not sure if you have a slot in your agenda and if you are willing to have two people. This is just to help you, on our side it will be good whatever you decide is best for the event. Don’t understand me wrong, please.

In my view one representative will suffice, as it is viewed as an “introduction” opportunity. Eventually, we could organize a dedicated event, hosted by the science and technology park (next year, when the park is operational).

We can cover the cost for the travel (plane tickets) and the hotel – your representative is advised to stay at the Hilton hotel, where the event will take place. In our experience these costs should not exceed 800 euro which is within our budget.

Thank you for this prompt reply. I am sending attached a draft program, which can indicate for you the general idea. The targeted audience encompasses startups and SMEs, the Bulgarian SME agency (the 1st panel will be moderated by their representative), relevant institutional representation (special guests from the Ministry of economy and Ministry of energy), branch associations representatives, representatives from thematic clusters (ICT cluster, for example), NGOs, engineers and architects, university management representatives and representatives from the Bulgarian Academy of science.

What I envisage as FIWARE participation is a speaker who will introduce the initiative, plus information about the profile of the companies (startups) FIWARE targets and the benefits for such companies, described shortly. Please refer to the attached draft program to see when the planned slot for the presentation is. The FIWARE representative will have the opportunity to meet with business, academia, NGO and institutions representatives formally and possibly in an informal manner should they decide to schedule meetings ouside the program/event. There is a Q&A session following the last presentation of the panel.

This is an introduction opportunity for FIWARE in my view. The format of the event is meant to put a focus on awareness raising on opportunities and practical experience shared (2nd panel). If we deliver on this firs mutual initiative we can consider organizing future events where FIWARE can be presented with opportunities to present to selected business audience, participate in thematic workshops to better visualize its practices and mechanism and present at B2B and thematic events from the calendar of Sofia Tech Park for 2016.

Sofia Tech Park JSC<http://sofiatech.bg/en/> is organizing an event on the topic of business development and financing/funding opportunities for startups and SMEs from the energy efficiency (and ICT in energy efficiency) and smart grids. The one-day event will be held at Hilton<http://www3.hilton.com/en/hotels/bulgaria/hilton-sofia-SOFHIHI/index.html>, Sofia on 29 September.

I would like to formally invite a FIWARE representative to speak at the event and present the initiative to Bulgarian companies. Before sending a formal invitation I would need you feedback on a few points. Please keep in mind the science and technology park (Sofia Tech Park) features an incubator for startups and SMEs which is a reason to discuss possible cooperation with FIWARE starting 2016.

In regard to the event, what I envisage is a 15-20 min presentation – an overview of the initiative plus information about the profile of the companies (startups) FIWARE targets and the benefits for such companies, described shortly.

Please let me know what is your practice in regard to such invitations and events, and if you have any specific requirements and/or requests. We could then discuss the details and I could formally send an invitation. Upon your confirmation I will send to the assigned contact person a draft program and a general profile of the targeted audience.

Dear Mr. Boria,

As I am not sure how clear was the information for you in the previous
mail, please have in mind that Sofia Tech Park covers the costs for
flight tickets; accommodation for two nights (28-30.09) in Hilton hotel;
dinner on 28.09; lunch, coffee breaks and dinner on 29.09 as well as
your lecturers fee. So please just advise whether you have particular
desire for the dates of travel (if you'd like to stay longer or shorter
time), flight company or number of nights for your stay in Sofia, Bulgaria.
