Hi,
I’m trying out the Cloud Lab but I’m not able to progress in any way.
My current aim is to setup to a public running machine which I can for example ssh to.
I was able to setup a blueprint template and start the according instance. Also using images and could setup a running instance.
However when assigning a created IP of a network I only get the error: „Error: undefined. Cause: unknown“
Can you please provide me more material how to exactly use the platform (as detailed as possible – step by step) or provide me with other support.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your help. I followed the steps given in the video „Instances“ but I’m still not able to associate a floating IP to the running instance. I receive the error message sent before. Any help is appreciated!

Dear Maik,
unfortunately, the Berlin node is out of floating IPs.
We are desparately trying to resolve this issue, baut I am afraid that this will need time.
Users tend not to free up unused ressources easily
We have to establish and administrative solution for this problem.

Hi,
You can start in http://help.lab.fi-ware.org and in the up and right part of the page, you can see a menu like the one I'm attaching you. – You can select "cloud" and "Instances" – This a good place where to start.

Hi,
I’m trying out the Cloud Lab but I’m not able to progress in any way.
My current aim is to setup to a public running machine which I can for example ssh to.
I was able to setup a blueprint template and start the according instance. Also using images and could setup a running instance.
However when assigning a created IP of a network I only get the error: „Error: undefined. Cause: unknown“
Can you please provide me more material how to exactly use the platform (as detailed as possible – step by step) or provide me with other support.
