Hi Ignacio,

Your definition file seems fine.
Please be aware that the CEP can run one definition project at a time. So
if you succeed to send it a TrafficReport evemt, it means that it run the
example project definition and not your definition file.
When you export a definition from the UI to the engine, it means that the
definition is kept in the definition repository.
If you want the engine to run with it, you need to change the CEP engine
status to run with the new definition and to stop and start the CEP
engine.
All can be done through REST commands, as described in the api doc.

I added cc to the FI-WARE issue tracking system to document this issue.

Usually this error is due to an issue with the format of the input event.
Please make you defined the event with exactly the same name and that it
has one attribute called score.

If you did not find the problem, please send me your definition file
(using export to a file).

Hi Ignacio,

Glad to hear that the previous issue was solved.
I looked at your json and it seems to be fine.

The header you are sending is different than the standard json header. Is
it a language issue?
Please try to use the header:
Content-Type: application/json

If this doesn't help,
Please look at the log file (under tomcat installation /logs directory
usually the file called Catalina.out) to see if there is error indication.
If you don't understand the error, please send me this log

As for actually debugging, the source is open, you are welcome to see what
actually happen if you feel comfortable with it.

Yes, the error you see seems to be related to an undefined CATALINA_HOME,
and I see in the screenshot that it is defined... Since I'm not a
Tomcat/Linux expert, I don't know why you have this problem.

Glad to hear that the previous issue was solved.
I looked at your json and it seems to be fine.

The header you are sending is different than the standard json header. Is
it a language issue?
Please try to use the header:
Content-Type: application/json

If this doesn't help,
Please look at the log file (under tomcat installation /logs directory
usually the file called Catalina.out) to see if there is error indication.

If you don't understand the error, please send me this log

As for actually debugging, the source is open, you are welcome to see what
actually happen if you feel comfortable with it.

It seems that the CEP repository directory was not define.
Please make sure you defined it - as described in the installation
document:

Yes, the error you see seems to be related to an undefined CATALINA_HOME,
and I see in the screenshot that it is defined... Since I'm not a
Tomcat/Linux expert, I don't know why you have this problem.

The content of my Tomcat activation script is below:

Hi Ignacio,

Your definition file seems fine.
Please be aware that the CEP can run one definition project at a time. So
if you succeed to send it a TrafficReport evemt, it means that it run the
example project definition and not your definition file.
When you export a definition from the UI to the engine, it means that the
definition is kept in the definition repository.
If you want the engine to run with it, you need to change the CEP engine
status to run with the new definition and to stop and start the CEP
engine.
All can be done through REST commands, as described in the api doc.

I added cc to the FI-WARE issue tracking system to document this issue.

Usually this error is due to an issue with the format of the input event.
Please make you defined the event with exactly the same name and that it
has one attribute called score.

If you did not find the problem, please send me your definition file
(using export to a file).

I have done the same steps, with the same result

1- Create Project DemoTek at http://130.206.81.23:8080/AuthoringTool/Main.html and save

2- PUT definition

3- Change state stop and start

4- Get Definition
