      Description

      Hi,
I'm having troubles in creating a new cloud instance. I tried several
regions (Trento, Lannion, Berlin, Stockholm). This is my first attempt so I
also tried different available appliances, as I don't need yet a specific
application. However, when I complete the new instance customization, I see
the instance at first in BUILD state, task NETWORKING, then after a while
it goes ERROR state. The info bar shows the instance was started and I have
no means to log the error.
Am I doing something wrong? I watched the tutorial about creating a new
instance. I see there's something a little different, as in the video there
no "region" section and when the customization of the instance starts,
instead of the "instance name" field I have, there's a "server name" field
and the entire customization procedure is only one-tab wide, while I have
several one (I guess this is due to a previous version of the web
      interface).

      Thanks for helping,
      kind regards.

      Paolo Marchetti

        Dear Paolo,
        I'm sorry for your inconvenience.
As shown in the screen message, some regions are yet under configuration and testing. I would suggest to try Prague or Budapest: they should work well at the moment.
Please, do not hesitate to contact us for any further assistance.

        Best regards
        Marco

        Dear Marco,
I've managed to create and start an instance in the Budapest Region.
However, I'm still possibly doing something wrong, because I'm not able to
ssh connect to the instance. I believe that the instance is currently
running, as I'm able to view a login prompt from the web vnc viewer. Shall
I post you some screenshot that may help in solving my issue?

        King regards,
        Paolo.

P.S. Vedo che in cc c'è un indirizzo mail di qualcuno che può essere
English-speaking, per questo ho continuato sull'inglese anche se forse sto
        parlando direttamente con un italiano.

        Dear Marco & Paolo,

if you let us know what the id of your instance is, we can try
investigate further, where the problem may be with your node. However, a
common mistake is that the port 22 is not open. Please take a look under
the menu: Compute > Security > Security groups and bind it properly to
        your instance.

        Kind regards,
        József
