Description
Dear Fiware Lab Help,
I have created an ubuntu virtual machine, and obtained a public IP.
However, it does not seem that my virtual machine is accessible through
ssh, either using my private key on console, or converting it to .ppk with
putty.
Looking a bit more into it, I seem to need a subnet, which I created and a
gateway, which I also created. Creating an interface does not seem to be
allowed.
The result is that I have my virtual machine connected to a cloud, and the
world has a gateway, but no connection with my virtual machine (see
screenshot below).
This must be a beginners problem, but I have not been able to find a
solution just googling. What is the trivial thing that I am doing wrong?
Thank you. Regards,
Joan

HELP-15641) [Fiware-lab-help] I cannot start talking with my virtual machine *Dear Joan,
I've realized you don't have a Keypair (which you'll need to enter your VM) and I can't see the configuration of your security groups. Please, keep in mind that you need a Keypair to access your VM beacause there is no password for the users of your VMs and you need to add security rules to your security groups to open ports since the cloud acts like a closed firewall (every port is closed).
You might not need to create your own networks, routers, gateways, etc.
Regards,
José Ignacio
