      Dear,

I would like to get some help in using a widget in combination with a dataset from our website Rotterdamopendata.nl.

Is there a manual available with some help guidelines ?

      Awaiting your reply .
      Kind Regards,

        Hi!

Currently, there is no documentation explaining how to use a widget in combination with a dataset. However, if you know how to create a mashup using a dataset stored in the FIWARE CKAN instance, you will be able to connect your mashup with another CKAN instance easily. The operator used to retrieve the dataset from CKAN has a preference where you should set the URL of the CKAN instance. This preference is set to the FIWARE CKAN instance by default, but you can change it to your own instance.

On the other hand, if you don't know how to connect a mashup with CKAN, first of all I would recommend you to go to the store and acquire (for free) a set of widgets and operators called "CKANStarterKit". This pack contains the basic operator to retrieve a dataset from a CKAN instance and other basic widgets to show this information. You should wire this components in a correct way. If you don't know how to do that, you can answer this mail and I'll send you the picture with the correct wiring.

        Best Regards.
        Aitor.
