      Description

      Dear Admin,

I'm having issue connecting to a cloud instance.
The error message obtained is "Permission denied (publickey)".
I've tried generating public private key with ssh-keygen -t rsa -f
      cloud.key and connect using ssh -i cloud.key root@floating_ip but
      unsuccessful.
I also tried to create key pair using in https://cloud.lab.fiware.
org/project/access_and_security/ and downloaded the private key to ssh but
the access get denied too. The sample response i get is as below.

        Dear Yap,

I think you problem is that you try to connect using the created “cloud.key” private-key and the instances are created using USM and test2 keypairs, which you have not downloaded in the moment of creation.

        You have 2 possibilities:

First, you can create a private-key in the “Acces&Security” section, but you can download it only in the moment of the creation.

After that you can see only the public-key in the keypair information.

Then you can start the instance using this key.

The second one is to import your cloud.key ssh-keygen generated public-keypair and then start an instance using it.
