Dear Team of Fiware and the European Pioneers Programm,

We are a Start-Up from Passau in Bavaria. We are currently developing the beta of a new social network for feedback called stomt. We make the giving of feedback extremely easy and fun, as you can share it with friends on all existing social networks. Our feedback is short, relevant and viral content. It only becomes relevant if other users agree or disagree on it. Instead of putting general stamps on the obejcts of our feedback, our short form of feedback allows users to add a "stomt" for each detail they like oder want to improve. It will allow users to explore and change their sorrounding world for the details instead of reading long, general reviews.

We combine the features of following existing social networks:

-Twitter: Limited, short message (on point and one message per detail)

-Facebook: Structure of a social network with a feed, profiles etc (Social interaction and voting on "stomts" between users)

-Instagram: Adding fotos and filters to each "stomt" (Adding additional vlaue and proof to each "stomt"

-Reddit: Content becomes relevant through user-voting

-Google: Enable to find and target any object, business, products, person, place etc. and users to feedback them.

We are very close to launching our open beta, with a fully functional REST API, that we could add to the Fiware network. It will enable full access to our targets and feedback. Also see our One Pager attached to this email.

We have some questions concerning the use of the Fiware enablers. 

-How many do we have to use to be relevant for the program?

-There are some some that might become usefull in the future, like the Cosmos Big Data solution, is this enough to apply for the programm?

-Our Webapplication is written in PHP and most of the Fiware solutions are in Java, therefore hard for us to implement.

Maybe we could skype or have a call to quickly clear these questions.

We have accessed plenty of APIs and created our own data, to empower users to

feedback any place, business, celebrity, politician, corporation, politic party

Once posted, the "stomt" will be shown to all other people nearby and friends of

the author to agree or disagree on the matter. The more Agrees each stomt

recieves, the more relevant it becomes and the more reach it gets, showing up in

the feeds of users that are not nearby.

So I think we would apply for both for the Soul-Fi and the

EuropeanPioneers-Programme. But for the latter we need to integrate FIWARE and

FI-CONTENT, so we would like to know how much we need to integrate and what

components you would recommend a platforms like ours. Is there another

possibility? Because we think everyone would profit from a simple feedback

solution a normal user is actually willing to use through its ease of use. We

could contribute a feedback API and SDKs. Our API uses OAuth2.0, is RESTful and

well documented (not public yet but we could give you access).

We're going to launch in a month.

This seems like an interesting application within FIWARE. Let me try to answer your questions:

-How many do we have to use to be relevant for the program?
The exact condition of applying to the program differ from accelerator to accelerator. Please check their respective Web pages for the details. There may be multiple that would fit to your application, such that you can choose the most appropriate one.

-There are some some that might become usefull in the future, like the Cosmos Big Data solution, is this enough to apply for the programm?
As long as you integrate these technologies within the funded work that should be fine.

BTW, please also have a look at the technologies in the WebUI chapter which provides easy way to visualize things in a 3D context with simple Web/HTML-5 technology (XML3D). This chapter includes technology to visualize 3D maps with building (GIS Provider) as well as the visualization of of Points of Interest (POI Provider). These GEs are currently also being linked directly to the ContextBroker GE for visualizing IoT data in the context of where it was generated. Together these GEs may be very useful to visualize and interact with your data in an innovative ways. We even provide realtime collaborative interaction with these 3D maps, if needed.

Also please check out the GEs from the FI-Content project (http://mediafi.org) that are building on top of the WebUI chapter technology.

FIWARE has been designed as Web services and thus the implementation language should not matter that much. Much of the WebUI technology is actually implemented even on the client side using standard Web technology (HTML, CSS, JS, etc). Through FI-Content that technology is now also available natively for mobile apps via Intel's Crosswalk technology (similar to Cordova/Phonegap but with WebGL support) and thus provides a fully consistent but also highly interactive and innovative UI across all devices.

stomt is a social network for feedback. Think of a mix of Facebook, Reddit and

Twitter.

We have accessed plenty of APIs and created our own data, to empower users to

feedback any place, business, celebrity, politician, corporation, politic party

and so on.

So everyone has the chance to voice their opinions and improve their

sorroundings, meaning their home-towns, businesses they interact with, politics

that effects them etc. Each opinion can even become a movement if enough people

agree, so it's basically a digital democracy.

To keep it simple we limit each so called "stomt" to a fixed sentence beginning

(I "like" for positive feedback, I "wish" for constructive feedback), which can

be completet with a maximum 100 characters. So it's "User likes/wishes Target

+100 Char"

Example: "I wish Hofbraeuhaus, Munich would offer a wheelchair-ramp!".

Once posted, the "stomt" will be shown to all other people nearby and friends of

the author to agree or disagree on the matter. The more Agrees each stomt

recieves, the more relevant it becomes and the more reach it gets, showing up in

the feeds of users that are not nearby.

So I think we would apply for both for the Soul-Fi and the

EuropeanPioneers-Programme. But for the latter we need to integrate FIWARE and

FI-CONTENT, so we would like to know how much we need to integrate and what

components you would recommend a platforms like ours. Is there another

possibility? Because we think everyone would profit from a simple feedback

solution a normal user is actually willing to use through its ease of use. We

could contribute a feedback API and SDKs. Our API uses OAuth2.0, is RESTful and

well documented (not public yet but we could give you access).

We're going to launch in a month.
