        Dear Johan Van Mensel,
in answer to your question I want to inform you that private networks cannot be added in FIWARE-Lab. Any node being added in the Lab is required to install open stack and to offer a number of public IP addresses. Private addresses are however not routable.

Nodes operating behind a NATed and dynamically provisioned IP (as most operators do today) are also not permitted as they do not have a stable and routable IP address.

I hope this answers your question.

        Best regards,
        Uwe Herzog

        Dear Uwe,
So if I create multiple instances, it's not possible to have a communication over IP between them?
How would I setup a complex network? Not possible?
For instance a Tomcat server and a separate DB server?

        Regards,
        Johan Van Mensel

        Dear Johan,

Only one way for this architecture in the current FILAB: Use two public IP for communication between two instances.
