I’ve tried to change the password using the WebUI with both Chrome and Safari and I confirm the error you reported.

To access your instances I suggest you to use:

• floating IP with key pair and access via SSH
• inject in the instance a cloud-init script when creating it
  e.g.: #cloud-config
  password: admin
  chpasswd: { expire: False }

  ssh_pwauth: True

Anyway, I will forward your request to the Budapest node.

I’ve tried also in other region and seems a bug of the user interface because. I will fwd the issue to the Cloud interface group instead of Budapest node.

I've fixed the error messages when it fails.

It has been marked as resolved but now i see this error on all region when trying to change an instance password :

Error changing password. Cause: 501 Error
{"notImplemented": {"message": "Unable to set password on instance", "code": 501}}
