Description
Tested GE(s): Wirecloud
Responsible: fiware@ulpgc.es
Environment: FIWARE lab
Web Browser: Google Chrome version 38.0.2125.104
Operating System: OSX version 10.9.3
Instance: Global
User id: wirecloud
Description:
We developed our new widget and added it its corresponding input and
outputs wiring points.
We uploaded the widget to the dashboard and the widget was displayed
correctly. The problem occured when we tried to access the wiring map. When
we clicked on ‘Wiring map’ and error message was displayed. See the image
‘Wiring map issue_1’ for more details.
The system asked if we wanted Wirecloud to restore the wiring map so we
clicked ‘Ok’. After that, everything was ok and we were able to access our
widget inputs and outputs points, as it is shown in the image named ‘Wiring
map issue_2’.
The main problem we found here is that we have no explanation about the
error and we don’t know why is happening since it is being restored
automatically.
How to replicate:
1. Create a new widget from scratch
2. Zip the widget and add it the ‘.wgt’ extension
3. Go to filab and click on ‘Mashup’
4. Click on ‘My Resources’
5. Click on the upload icon
6. Select the widget
7. Wait for the system to upload it
8. Click on ‘Wiring map’

Other problems has been solved by fixing other bugs and we are going to work on the Wiring Editor in next sprint so detailed info will be improved (see APP-217).
