      Description

      Hello,

I'm trying to reach my FIWARE machine throught its public IP in order to
send new data updates to my Cepheus CEP enabler but its impossible for me
to make a cURL request from any other remote machine.

Even I can not make ping to my FIWARE machine from my personal computer. I
already disabled the firewall and antivirus and still doesnt work, but the
thing is that from the FIWARE machine I can make ping to my personal
      computer. Its weird.

Is there any firewall in the FIWARE machine or FIWARE Cloud Lab that I have
      to disable?

      Thanks.

        Hi!

I shut it off when I finished my tries. I'm going to start it again and you
can check ping to its IP.

        Thanks!

Well, TCP is working Properly for the ports you have defined in your security groups. And ICMP protocol 0 is for ICMP echo responses. The code for Ping is ICMP 8.

        Regards,
        José Ignacio.
