          Description

          Hello,

          We are interested in exploiting the capabilities of Wirecloud Mashup GE
          alongside with WStore GE as part of FIspace (FI-PPP phase2) European project.

          Until now we have managed to successfully use most of the capabilities of
          WStore GE.
          We've also connected with it successfully a Repository GEi and a
          Marketplace GEi. We can create an offering and see that it is also created
          in the marketplace and the Repository.

          Our next step is to connect Application Mashup-Wirecloud GEi with our
          Marketplace GEi so as to be able to see our widgets' offerings that we
          have created using Wstore. However we were not able to do so.

          Also , we have difficulty in connecting RSS with Wstore.

          Currently we are using the internal authorization system and not IDM
          because we have also difficulty in using it.

          We have used Marketplace,Wstore,Repository,Wirecloud version 3.2.1 for all.

          Is there any guide for achieving such an integration of GEis or even a
          Virtual machine image with all these GEs preinstalled which you can
          provide us?

            Dear Vasilis,

            speaking from the WireCloud and WStore team (CC Javier Lucio from the RSS
            team). Currently, you need to use IDM for authentication if you want to use
            your WStore instance from WireCloud, sorry .

            Regarding the problems of connecting WStore with the RSS, depending on your
            version of WStore and RSS it is possible that exists a mismatch between
            WStore client and RSS server.

            In any case, we recommend you to use the latest version of the GEis.

            Thanks for contacting us. Besides your question that apparently is being dealt with talking to the GE owner directly...

            I am wondering why a Use Case project needs to use FI-Lab. We have 2 environments:

            • FI-Lab, for everyone on the internet wishing to experiment with FI-WARE
            • The PPP Testbed, a space reserved for the PPP projects with dedicated resources. Here we may offer PPP restricted stuff, but not on FI-Lab. Also, the computing resources are less oversubscribed here.

            My suggestion is that unless you need to involve external users, the right choice is the Testbed and not FI-Lab. I guess that this message has been passed via the PPP AB.

            Up to you, anyone can create a user in FI-Lab, the Use Cases as well.
