So my question remains.
By mistake our floating IP has been released. We have allocated a new
IP, but its unreachable at the moment. Do we have to wait a certain
amount of time before its reachable?

Sorry. If had known the VM with problems it would have been easier to find it. Anyway, the VM has finally its IP.
