      Description

      Hello,

I am interested in participating in the fiware summit in Malaga on the 13-15th of December.

I just would like to get more information about the event.

As a business developer I am wondering if it is really worth participating at the 1st day of the event about development training. I am engineer but I have no clue about fiware program language and so on.

Will the training session also be valid for beginners?

Could you please forward this request to someone who is part of the organization please?

Thank you very much in advance for your support.

      Antoine

        José Manuel,

Could you kindly reply to this person on antoinecouderc@hotmail.com?
Please CC the list to record the interaction.

The first thing to clarify would be that we do not have a "FIWARE
        programming language"

        Best regards,

        Miguel

        Dear Antoine,

Thanks for your interest in FIWARE.

I think you can come, but I suggest to see some videos, tutorials and wiki, to start operating with FIWARE before you go, so you are more prepared.

        Some examples are these ones:

        https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLR9elAI9JscS9ob4U0TssbLaX6U_Rbc3Z
        http://fiwaretourguide.readthedocs.io/en/latest/fiware-tour-guide-application-a-tutorial-on-how-to-integrate-the-main-fiware-ges/introduction/
        https://forge.fiware.org/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fiware/index.php/Working_with_the_FIWARE_catalogue

In any case copy my colleagues Carlos and Fernando, who are lading two technical sessions and can tell you exactly what's the pre-required training that you need to have and how to get familiar with FIWARE technology.

        Kind regards,

        Malena

        Hi,

The FIWARE Summit Agenda is at

        https://www.fiware.org/summit-agenda/

I would recommend you attend first day’s technical sessions as they will allow you to have an overview of the different components offered by FIWARE to develop smart applications. By the way FIWARE is language agnostic, we offer APIs and leave developers to use their favourite programming languages-

        Thanks, best
