Good morning,
Thanks for responding.
I created a security group called test-sg with ports 80 and 22 open as shown in the video starting at 45 seconds:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAVH3b67hP8#t=45s
Under Security Groups for my group test-sg I have:
IP Protocol From Port To Port Source Action
TCP 80 80 0.0.0.0/0 (CIDR) TCP 22 22 0.0.0.0/0 (CIDR)
I even tried opening port 80 in the default security group but it made no difference.
I'm using the network named "public-ext-net-01", is that correct?
In the video, after creating the security group they create a network and subnet. As I mentioned in my previous e-mail, I can't do that because nothing happens when I click the "Create" button in the network dialog.
Since my last email, I created a 2nd server, also with Ubuntu 14.04.I can ssh into the first server (server1) with the public IP address, and I can ssh and FTP from server1 to server2.
I'd appreciate your help with the web access problem, and understanding why I can't create a network or subnet. I'm also curious about how to access more than one server over the web with the single public address. Is there a way to configure port forwarding to allow that?
Thanks,
Fred Fernandez
