Description
Dear FIWARE community,
I’m Dr. Jan Reimann from the Fraunhofer IWU in Chemnitz, Germany. Some time ago, the EU call IoT-03-2017 was published [1]. From the view point of my department (Digitalization of Production) this call is very interesting because we see the potential to connect IoT and Industry 4.0 aspects. But we are not prominent enough to go for the lead for an initiative. Thus, we want to ask you if you intend to submit a proposal to this call, since you as the FIWARE consortium deliver a base technology as prerequisite in the call. If this is the case, we would kindly ask if you are still searching for potential partners. We’d like to participate in a consortium and can offer expertise in the areas of big data, data analysis, linked data, energy efficiency, ontologies, manufacturing, processes, as our main potential. If you are interested, don’t hesitate to call or email me. We are very looking forward to hear from you.
Best regards,
Jan Reimann

Dear Jan,
Thanks for your email. From FIWARE we are open to collaborate and promote the use of FIWARE platform http://www.fiware.org/ as much as possible.
At this stage for your H2020 proposals we can’t commit or compromise, it would be unfair as we can’t really advise nor do anything now as FIWARE must remain impartial. However, we do encourage the FIWARE usage of course in your proposals if you are willing to use FIWARE GEs http://catalogue.fiware.org/ you are more than welcome to do so.
Hoping you succeed in your project!
Best regards,
Malena
