      Description

      Dear FIWARE Org.,

My name is David E. Pajares from the Dutch company Avionics Control Systems,
members of SOULFI program in the FIWARE framework.

The reason because we are writing you is that during the acceleration
program we have been developing a disrupting air quality system, called
ECOntroller <http://www.econtroller.info/> , to monitor the air composition
      in Smart Cities.

The system collects air composition data (there is a big range of gas
sensors to choose) and transmits them in real time to the online platform,
where the user (usually municipalities) can visualize in a very simple way
(cloud of colours on a map or graphics) the air composition. Thus, the city
council will be able to know in real time, the concentration levels of the
different gases in which they are interested and where they are located ,
ie; what, where and when in real time.

Although there are similar systems, none offer this precision measurements
and this range of sensors. The price difference with current systems used by
      municipalities is many time 150-1.

What do we need? We are currently testing the devices in the real
environment and delivering units, it is crucial for us to find
Municipalities which can allow us to install pilot units.

Can you please provide us with the list of the municipalities (Smart Cities)
inscribed to the FIWARE organization? It would be very important for us to
get in contact with them and hopefully installed pilot projects.

We are looking forward to your answer.

      Kind Regards,

      David E. Pajares de Santiago

        Dear David,

Many thanks for your email and my apologies for the delayed response.

For us to introduce a given device it first has to be listed in the FIWARE Marketplace (https://marketplace.fiware.org/) as a 'FIWARE-Ready IoT Device'. More information on how to apply can be found on the Marketplace website.

I'm afraid that we cannot simply put you in direct contact with any particular city as that would be considered unfair to the other device manufacturers who have developed a similar device and are already certified as 'FIWARE-Ready'. Nevertheless, we do from time to time to let them know that updates have been made to the FIWARE Marketplace, and once you are a part of the Marketplace, this would give you visibility in front of cities. In addition, we also promote the FIWARE Marketplace online and at events.

If a city explicitly asks for specific devices, we will, of course, respond with the information available on the FIWARE Marketplace. In that case, we point them into the direction of the device manufacturers who are commercializing products of their interest.

Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any further questions. Happy to help.

        Best,
        Charlotte
