      Description

      To whom it may concern,

I'm recently trying to send sensor data to Orion Context Broker at FIWARE Lab Global Instance (http://orion.lab.fiware.org:1026).
I've managed to write updateContext data to Orion Broker referring the Quick Start guide (*1), but when I tried to send updateContext from mock IoT Agent via Cepheus Broker v0.1.7, it fails. (*2)
I'm running Cepheus Broker with the options below(*3).
      --remote.url=http://orion.lab.fiware.org:1026,
      --remote.authToken=<OAuthToken I got>

Also, following error message appears in the Cepheus Broker's log.
      "error 415: Unsupported Media Type"

How can I send updateContext from my mock IoT Agent?
      Your help would be appreciated

Subject: New Orion Context Broker Release (1.3.0)

      <https://account.lab.fiware.org/static/dashboard/img/mail/header-mail.png>
      Dear FIWARE Lab user

This announcement is about Orion Context Broker. If you are not using this component you can safely ignore this message.

A new Orion Context Broker release (1.3.0) has just been released, corresponding to the FIWARE Release 5. This is the bigest Orion release to date. Lots of additions and bugfixes has been implemented. The changelog has 69 entries, covering more than 80 individual issues. Detailed changelog for this new version can be found at https://github.com/telefonicaid/fiware-orion/releases/tag/1.3.0

For users of standalone Orion instanc es (i.e. Orion running in your own virtual machine),there is an important note: the DB model has changes regarding the previous version. Thus, a migration procedure on existing data has to be applied (or DB has to be dropped), see details https://github.com/telefonicaid/fiware-orion/blob/1.3.0/doc/manuals/admin/upgrading_crossing_1-3-0.md. Not applying this procedure could make CB to crash. After that, you can update to the new version running (as root or using sudo): "yum install contextBroker". Sometimes yum doesn't detect the new version, in which case you have to run "yum clean all" before that.

For users of the global instance at orion.lab.fiware.org, the change to 1.3.0 has been already done. Note that if you use the global instance you are agreeing in the Acceptable Usage Policy associated to it http://wiki.fiware.org/FIWARE_Lab_Orion_Context_Broker_Global_Instance_Acceptable_Usage_Policy.

If you are going to use this new version (highly recommended), please review the manuals at http://fiware-orion.readthedocs.io/en/1.3.0.

For any doubt related with th is announcement, please send an email to fiware-lab-help@lists.fiware.org mailing list.

      Best regards,

At a firt glance, it seems to be more related with Cepheus than with Orion... Thus, I'm passing the issue to Backlog Manager (Manuel Escriche) so he can re-assign to Cepheus owner, please.

        Hi Jun,

I don't quite well understand what you want to achieve, but the error you are getting seems to be that your NGSI request is missing the "Content-Type" HTTP header that must be set to "application/json".

        Regards,
