We are contacting you on behalf of the European Commission, particularly
in the context of the ISA2 Programme (Interoperability Solutions for
European Public Administrations) [1].

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce Joinup [2]. Joinup is
an open platform to help public administrations find, promote, share and
reuse high quality interoperability solutions and good practices to
facilitate cross-border and/or cross-sector interoperability in Europe and
beyond. The platform allows interested parties to be informed on the
current status of interoperability and to reuse solutions already
available in the public sector while saving costs and increasing
efficiency, transparency and quality of service,

We know that FIWARE is a platform that aims at easing the development and
global deployment of new smart applications in multiple sectors and that
the API specification of FIWARE is open and royalty-free.
Given that your initiative is driven by the EU, co-funded by the EC and
the Framework Programme 7 (FP7) and it is also mentioned as part of the
Digital Single Market [3], we believe that Joinup can further promote the
solutions that have been developed using FIWARE.

It is in this respect that we would like to kindly ask you to help us
identity those solutions that are relevant for public administrations.
This means that the solutions must be, or planned to be, used by at least
one public administration.

Should you be interested in this collaboration or have any questions in
this regard, we can send you more detailed information at your request.
