FIWARE.Request.Collabora. Collaboration Request for FIWARE and FIWARE LAB

    Details

      Description

      Dear Juanjo,

I have a rather urgent question. We are currently setting up a H2020 proposal for AI in Cyber-Physical Systems using Cloud Computing. We call this project Bonseyes.
We would like to use the FIWARE LAB federation of node in Bonseyes for experiments. BTH has been member of the XIFI project and we made very good experience with XIFI.

What kind of costs would occur if an H2020 project would like to use FIWARE LAB?

I would appreciate if you send me a quick response such that we can finalise the budget for the project.

      Have a nice day
      Best Regards
      Kurt

        Hi,

In general FIWARE lab is free to use, but for an entire project the
resources you are getting will probably not be sufficient. It does make
sense to discuss with the people from FIWARE-Lab (e.g. Stefano, in CC)
if there could be contributions to FIWARE to provide special support.

Of course you could use FIWARE-Ops to run this on your own HW or you
could buy commercial services, which are available also for FIWARE.

BTW, your topic sounds really interesting from my point of view. I am a
scientific director from DFKI (German Research Center for Artificial
Intelligence), member of the Technical Board of FIWARE and leader its
WebUI chapter. We have been involved also in FITMAN and are still
involved in several German Industrie-4.0 projects, where we also apply
AI techniques to CPS in a service/cloud setting. Its might be
interesting to touch bases about research in this area.

        Best,

        Philipp
