FIWARE.Request.Collabora.Fwd: Launch of FIWARE Foundation - EU proposal opportunity via one of the FiWare startups

    Details

      Description

Hi all! My name is Manuel, I'm one of the founders of Linknovate; we are
one of the FiWare startups (1st prize, Finodex 2015).

*Long story short: *we have been invited to 2 consortiums of the calls
H2020 ICT-06 and ICT-10. We thought the newly formed FiWare Foundation (see
below) could be interested to participate somehow in our proposal team
(which is already formed) and provide feedback and interaction on behalf of
the FiWare community – probably the easiest way is with a FiWare
      representative in the Advisory Board.

More details: This way FiWare community would benefit from the adaptation
and/or direct integration of any developments we achieve if our proposals
are funded and successful. On our side we'd like to keep the conversation
open with FiWare representatives... and now looking for the way to do it.
If you think you could help, please let me know asap – I've tried to get
in touch but couldn't make it so far and the call is due on April 12.

      Thanks,

      Manu

        Dear Manuel,

        Thanks for your email.

From FIWARE we are open to collaborate and promote the use of FIWARE platform as much as possible. So, we cannot commit any resources but if you are willing to use FIWARE GEs http://catalogue.fiware.org/ you are more than welcome to do so.

At this stage for your H2020 proposals we can’t commit or compromise, it would be unfair as we can’t really advise nor do anything now as FIWARE must remain impartial. However, we do encourage the FIWARE usage of course in your proposals. But of course if you succeed and need training in specific domain you can join us in our developers week (free of charge) or any other event where FIWARE is represented, you can get more information here: http://www.fiware.org/events/ and of course contact us again.

Apart from this, I need to say, that if you want to contact any Fiware member (each organization) you are free to contact them.

We hope you succeed with your project.

        Best regards,

        Malena
