      Description

      Hello,

I am an IOT and Smart City consultant advising cities such as Eindhoven,
      Netherlands.

I would like to be associated with other entrepreneurs using FIWARE. How
do I get involved and become a member?

      Regards

        dear mr. khan,

hopefully this email find you still interested in fiware. we apologise for this delay, but we are now able to close all the gaps.
so happy to be contact with you and happy to receive your request and being able to provide you some answers.

there are varioius ways to be in contact and in the fiware community. they are:

        1. to attend to one of our events and in particular the next fiware summit which will occur on 27-29 november in malaga. there you can find many people using fiware at all levels, both entrepreneurs and developers. we do expect an attendance of 500+ people at the event

        2. you can become member of the fiware foundation and thus being in direct contact with all the other members. few foresees various level of membership. the two that i think are of your interest are "individual" membership and "gold" membership. individuals are at the core of the fiware community, their participation is for free. gold members are organisations of small/medium size that want also to drive fiware as gold members can be elected in the board of directors of the fiware foundation. everything is explained in details in the fiware.org portal in the foundation pages where also you find the link to be used to join the foundation (here for your convenience https://www.fiware.org/foundation/join/)

        3. besides the two above for you acting in the netherlands there is a third option. in the netherlands there is a quite active fiware community mostly specialised in smart cities. if you wish i can put you in contact with them.

happy to provide further help if you wish so.

        kind regards
        stefano de panfilis
        chief operating officer
