      Description

      Dear FIWARE Support,

I currently have a Community Account on the Spain2 node. I have successfully deployed and connected to Blueprint Template instances associated with my allocated floating IP. I can ping and ssh blueprint template instances perfectly fine. However, the issue is when launching a pre-made image as an instance, mainly the Orion Context Broker image, the most current being "orion-psb-image-R4.4<https://cloud.lab.fiware.org/#nova/images/114e0fc7-1f04-453e-8b34-d2d839a0b6f1>". According to the FIWARE Lab instances web console, it is successfully launched, has the correct security group and network, and is correctly associated the allocated floating IP. However, I am still unable to ping or ssh to it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have already read through the Orion Context Broker PDF's on the help section of the FIWARE Labs website, and followed the section entitled "Deploying a dedicated GE instance based on an image", which is what I'm trying to do.

Also, I have been able to successfully communicate with your running example test instance of Orion at 130.206.81.86:1026; however, what I really want to do is to run my own instance within our FIWARE cloud space.

      Thanks,
      Dan

        Hi
Have you opened the ports 22 and the ICMP for the ping in your security group?
        Thanks,
        Henar
