Description
A user indicated that they wanted to snapshot an instance and launch a VM from this snapshot later. They said they had problems doing this.
I tried to do this on both Zurich and Volos nodes and nothing happened when I tried to launch an instance from a snapshot in this way.
Here are the steps:
launch instance from standard image
create snapshot of image (this works fine - takes abt 5 minutes)
go to snapshots
select snapshot with check box
go to the actions menu, select Launch instance and nothing happens.
(I'm using Chrome 48.0.2564.79 beta (64-bit)).
Later, I observed that it is possible to launch it from the set of images, but this is non-obvious.
