Description

Hi,

I am posting this issue, so that it can enter the Jira system.
My account is currently a community account (feedback@bluemind-software.ro)

PROBLEM: cannot create a container for Object Storage(both in the fiware lab cloud GUI and via the API). I also cannot list the containers. 404 answers both in the fiware lab cloud GUI and via the API.

picture1. create a container. notice that there are no other containers (none could be created)

picture 2. error

If I try via the API, it’s the same result. let’s use postman for example
1) I get the initial token

2) get tenant

3) get Tenant Token for object storage access

4) in the same request I also get the public url for Spain 2 ("type": "object-store",)

5) I try to create a container

6) I get the exact response as in the Lab:

Not Found

The resource could not be found.

I can see that the IP which I got from API is 130.206.112.3. I can also see that the IP used by the lab application is different (130.206.84.8 – and it’s https).
Anyway.. in the lab application we also get 404 – Not found (the reason why the lab application is also not working)

Thank you,
Bogdan

Dear Fernando,

We could create a container from the lab cloud GUI (called werrwe).
I tried the API as well and I have created a new container called newContainer.

Please note that the GUI and API both work but they don't access the same location.
In the GUI I can see werrwe but I cannot see newContainer.
With the API I can see newContainer but I cannot see werrwe.

Further analysis shows that the API creates the container at http://130.206.112.3:8080/v1/AUTH_8074ffc3cb6840c98f9ac4b3f4d38b7e

Dear Fernando,

Another issue: we have imagined to create a network in FIware Lab where we would have a main instance with our code and other instanced for various GEs (separate context broker at least).
For the simplest scenario, we have created 2 instances:
1. MAIN with ubuntu and node and our software
node-int-net-01: 192.168.224.203
node-int-net-01: 130.206.113.46 (floating IP)
2. ORION - from image.
node-int-net-01: 192.168.225.55

Both have been put in the same network chosen from the available ones. (node-int-net-01).
the security group is the same for both and has rules like:

We connect via SSH to main. When we try to ping ORION from MAIN , it does not work.
What is wrong? What should we do otherwise to have a simple solution like this?

On the Internet we saw that some people create their own networks and add a router.
We would prefer to keep it simple, but we are open to learn how to do it, if needed. For now, we tried to create a router but we only got this message “{"NeutronError": {"message": "Quota exceeded for resources: ['router']", "type": "OverQuota", "detail": ""}}”

Of course, if nothing else works, we could just use global instances. But we would like to learn how to set up such a network.
Thank you,
Bogdan
