      Description

      Hello,

my user id is johann.hoechtl@gmail.com. I have an assigned community
      account.

When I try to create an instance in the cloud environment according to
      the documentation at

      http://de.slideshare.net/knagin/docker-hosting-on-fiware-lab?next_slideshow=1

the creation fails with the following error:

      docker-machine create -d openstack --openstack-flavor-id="2"
      --openstack-image-id=69a06c08-10e0-4eb9-a5ef-347871c904fd
      --openstack-net-name="node-int-net02"
      --openstack-floatingip-pool="public-ext-net-02"
      --openstack-sec-groups="docker_postgres" docker-machine
      Creating CA: /home/john/.docker/machine/certs/ca.pem
      Creating client certificate: /home/john/.docker/machine/certs/cert.pem
      Running pre-create checks...
      Creating machine...
Error creating machine: Error in driver during machine creation: Unable
      to find network named node-int-net02

On node Trento both node-int-net01 and node-int-net02 exist. I tried
both and the creation fails with the same error message.

      Thank you, Johann

        No,

        • I do not see any instance running.
        • Still, if I want to create the instance and choose any other security
group but "default", the tool complains that the security group cannot
be found. So no, the issues are still there.

        According to the documentation at

        http://de.slideshare.net/knagin/docker-hosting-on-fiware-lab?next_slideshow=1

I should see the instance running, if everything went ok.

So, the issues I reported are still present.

Yes, this looks compeling, however I do not see this intance in the web
front end. I also got the error message when deploying that I exhausted
        my IP pool.

So this makes imho these there mistakes which I think should get escalated:

        • assignment of non-default security group not possible
        • error message of exhausted IP pool during creation, but machine is
          actually running
        • instance, although running, doesn't show up in web front end

I deleted the local configuration as I got an error message after the
creation and now I wonder how to access my instance as it doesn't show
        up in the web frontend?

        It all works now, additionally
        https://jira.fiware.org/browse/FIL-59
was necessary, however the ubuntu image works.

Only downside is that specifying a custom security group did not work,
        had to use default
