      Description

      Hi!
I'm trying to test WStore GE and I want to create an offering of my
      application but i can't.
This is the procedure i'm following:
-I login into my Fi-Lab account
      -Go to Store tab
      -Navigate to "My Offerings" section.
-Click on "Provider Options" dropdown menu and then "Create offering"

      • I fill the first 2 pages of information.
the problem is when i arrive to "Select applications" step, i'm not able to
see my applications, and get the following message:

"No Applications: You don't have any application available for access
control. Go to the next window to bind some downloadable resources"

My application uses Oauth2 credentials to login.

What do I have to do in order to offer my application inside the WStore??

        Hi Pablo,

Are you using your own installation of WStore? If this is the case, what version?

If you are using the global instance deployed in the FIWARE Lab, there is a known bug retireving the applications from the idm. This bug has been already fixed but we haven't deployed the patch yet, since we are planning to deploy a new version this month.

        Best regards,
        Francisco

        Hi Francisco,
At the moment, I'm using the global instance.
So..Do I Have to wait until the patch is deployed to test my application on
        the store?
        Best Regards,
        Pablo

        Hi Pablo,

If you want to use the authorization mechanism based on idm roles, yes.

Alternatively, WStore offer a more general mechanism intended for services, basically, when you can register your application in the Store as a resource and then provide a notification URL when creating the offering. When someone acquires your app, WStore sends a POST request to the URL you provided including information of the customer.

The lack of this mechanism is that you need to develop a service able to receive the notification and authorize the user.

I understand that you application is a service accessible via API. If is an app (downloadable) what you have to do is upload it as a resource in the Store and just create an offering with it.

        Best regards,
        Francisco

        Hi,
My app is a front-end application, it cannot be downloaded.
What I want is to offer subscriptions to my application. When a user
acquires a subscription for my app, his IdM account will have access to
        enter and use my app.
So.. in order to achieve this, if i've understood what you've told me, I
        have 2 options:
-Wait until the Wstore patch is deployed, and offer my application using
        idm credentials in the store.
-Create a much more complex process, using notification URL, and storing
users who have acquired the app.

        Am I right?
