          I am not sure if you received our email regarding our FICHE-FIWARE Phase III planning (please see message below) . We have not received response so far.

          I would really appreciate your answer as knowing the available resources provided by FIWARE is a key point in our implementation.

              Here are reasons from the SME. I am not sure that hosting of LexEVS and MetaMAP is part if FIWARE rules:

              ------
              In Phase III we planned to move more NLP tasks to FIWARE to further speed our big data processes. Specifically we want to integrate in FIWARE, the LexEVS and MetaMAP software. As this software requires special installation ( MySQL configuration and so) we can not simply submit those processes as part of Cosmos Hadoop job.
              According to LexEVS specifications, it should be run on at least 6 GB of RAM (https://wiki.nci.nih.gov/display/LexEVS/2+-+LexEVS+6.x+Prerequisite+Software+and+Supported+Platforms)
              and MetaMAP recommends 2 GB of RAM. (https://metamap.nlm.nih.gov/MetaMap.shtml). This means that a cloud node running this software needs at least 8 GB of RAM.
              Because one node is usually two slow we would like to have 4 nodes running permanently and possibility of running 4 additional ( during whole set reprocessing).
              In addition we need one node for CKAN and one for ORION context broker ( both should have at least 2 GB of RAM but 4 GB would be better).

              As a result we would need:

              • at least 6 instances (preferably a total of 10 instances) distributed as follows : 4 NLP nodes + CKAN+ context broker ( preferably 8 NLP nodes + CKAN + context broker)
              • at least 40GB RAM = 4*8GB RAM for NLP processes + 4 GB RAM for CKAN + 4 GB context broker (preferably 72 GB RAM with 8 * 8 GB for NLP)
              • at least 20 VCPUs = 4*4 for NLP (for the 4 large instances with 8 GB of RAM) + 2 for CKAN and 2 for context broker (preferably 36 VCPUs - 8*4 for NLP )
