      Description

I have a VM with the external IP: 160.85.2.34 on Zurich.

I have a docker manager running on 0.0.0.0:2376. I can reach it using telnet from the same machine. However from a machine outside the Flab network, I cannot access it on that port (port 22 and 80 are OK nevertheless).

The machine belongs to my default security group, which as 22, 80, 2376 and some other docker-related ports in the rules.

Given this scenario I don’t see why I cannot access that port from the outside. Can you look into it?

        Hi Alcides,

We had a look into it and everything looks right, the port 2376 is open and listening as shown below.

        :~$ telnet 160.85.2.34 2376
        Trying 160.85.2.34...
        Connected to 160.85.2.34.
        Escape character is '^]'.

Have you tried to telnet the vm from another device/network? If so, can you paste the response message of your telnet command?

        Best regards,
        Bruno.

I have tried from the local network, the University network, as well as from a DigitalOcean VPS. I can only connect to it inside the flab network.

I am sorry, it works now from other networks except the one I am in.

Looks like a local problem, sorry for the inconvenience.
