Dear Adel, Alex, all,
Our colleague Alex (in cc) from http://peacefulfish.com/ is willing to attend FUSECO. I think is a great opportunity but we are not sure if you are looking for a really technical presentation.
As your email Stefano, I think of course more than one person can attend if Thierry is available, anyway at this point I suggest to move forward and start organizing a slot that suits also Fuseco’s goals.
So, Alex proposes to talk about “the business impact of FIWARE and the startups that run through the services of FI Business, like bootcamps, epitches, investment forums and coaching. Furthermore, we are involved in the community building of FIWARE startups with SMEs, investors and technology research all over Europe”
What do you think Adel? Would that be feasible in any slot at the forum?
Best,
Malena

Dear Adel,
Thank you for your clarifications.
As you might know together with juanjo, Thierry and Nuria i'm in the management team of fiware (i'm the fiware lab responsible besides to be the current fi-ppp sb chair).
I attended fuseco last year and i know the conference very well as a successful one.
In the initial email you highligthed the need for an iot expertise, now you are more focussed on a management level as such.
I think Thierry being the iot fiware chapter coordinator is the rigth Person if he can, otherwise juanjo, Nuria or me can serve as well.
Is this what you Mean?
Ciao
Stefano

Dear Malena,
I would like to let you know that Fraunhofer FOKUS has been organizing this event since 2009. The main objective is to build the bridge between research projects’ results and the industry in emerging key technologies. Key speakers mainly come from the industry, but we invite others from important R&D projects.
The speaker can register to all sessions and join the social event for free and we can provide your members 20% discount. Therefore, we cannot cover any additional cost. As I mentioned in my previous email, we expect more than 250 participants coming from different countries and it is ultimately an opportunity for FIWARE to reach such an audience
For your information, we are actively working in different FI-PPP projects and we are operating a FIWARE node in our infrastructure and thus we know very well most of FIWARE GEs, but we would like to have a speaker from FIWARE management to highlight the current situation of the FIWARE, success stories, challenges and future plan (if any).
As we are finalizing the workshop agenda in the next days, could you let me know your feedback due end of this week.
Best regards/viele Grüße
Dr.-Ing. Adel Al-Hezmi
Dear Anne,
Please see my LinkedIn profile https://de.linkedin.com/in/alexanderberlin for my CV and photo.
Here is the title and abstract of my talk on FI Business:
Bringing future internet startups to the market
Many inventions and ideas are deriving from the FIWARE API catalogue and seek for their way into the market. FI Business supports entrepreneurs to find matches with existing SMEs and their challenges, to secure private funding for their market entry and to utilize synergies with other FIWARE startups. The goal is to form an ecosystem of investors, SMEs, researchers and entrepreneurs to better exploit technological inventions by organizing bootcamps, investment forums, matchmaking sessions, ePitches and one-on-one coaching with industry experts. Learn more about the FI Business activities and how to fertilize the open innovation process between established SMEs, cutting-edge research and future internet startups.
Let me know if you are still considering my presentation and if you need more information or an adaptation of my topic.
Best wishes,
Alex
