Dear Malena, 

I would like to let you know that Fraunhofer FOKUS has been organizing this event since 2009. The main objective is to build the bridge between research projects’ results and the industry in emerging key technologies. Key speakers mainly come from the industry, but we invite others from important R&D projects. 

The speaker can register to all sessions and join the social event for free and we can provide your members 20% discount. Therefore, we cannot cover any additional cost. As I mentioned in my previous email, we expect more than 250 participants coming from different countries and it is ultimately an opportunity for FIWARE to reach such an audience 

For your information, we are actively working in different FI-PPP projects and we are operating a FIWARE node in our infrastructure and thus we know very well most of FIWARE GEs, but we would like to have a speaker from FIWARE management to highlight the current situation of the FIWARE, success stories, challenges and future plan (if any).

As we are finalizing the workshop agenda in the next days, could you let me know your feedback due end of this week.

Thank you for your proposal. Your proposal to participate in FUSECO forum sounds very interesting to us.

 

We have some questions on our side. Could you please specify us if there’s any cost cover by the organisers of the Forum? Also, we understand that you may need some representative from FIWARE to be at the event. Were you thinking in just a presentation? Or you would like to include in your in offering the FIWARE technologies so GEs can be used for developers to test and promote/use FIWARE  in deeper sense?

 

Please, send us more information so we can internally better evaluate your proposal.

At the recommendation of Carlos Ralli, I would like to let you know that we are going to organize the 6th FUSECO Forum, which is going to take place in November 5 –  6 in Berlin and we would like to invite FIWARE to give a talk in the M2M workshop in the first day. For your information, we expect more than 250 participants from the globe. 

 

In this year, the FOUSECO forum is going to address mainly the topic: 

„Digital Convergence and Seamless Connectivity for everyone and everything – Bringing 5G, SDN/NFV and M2M/IOT together“

In the M2M/IoT workshop on the 5th of Nov, we are going to have two sessions as follows:

 

Session 1: The M2M and IoT Platforms as key Enabler for Smart Solutions and Applications:

This session will address the evolution of M2M towards the IoT and the related platforms and architecture. The workshop will address the challenges from business and technical perspectives of various vertical domains. M2M platform developers and service providers will present their view and experience from current development and deployment activities. 

 

Session 2: Innovative M2M/IoT solutions and applications: 

In this session, various vertical domains are presented and the related challenges are discussed with experts from different domains. Innovative applications, data analytic, and practical experience are the key message of this session. 

 

Your talk may cover the FIWARE in general, the successful stories and possibly the challenges you have or you met during the execution of the project/program. However, we are open for your proposal. 

 

I would appreciate your confirmation with the following information: speaker name, Presentation title; Short profile of the speaker and his/her picture.
