      Description

Hi when i am trying to connect to my Ubuntu VM i saw the message below

IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SOMEONE IS DOING SOMETHING NASTY!
Someone could be eavesdropping on you right now (man-in-the-middle attack)!
It is also possible that a host key has just been changed.
The fingerprint for the RSA key sent by the remote host is
      3f:8d:48:da:c1:c3:99:f5:eb:6d:47:17:93:a8:a0:e3.
      Please contact your system administrator.
Add correct host key in /var/root/.ssh/known_hosts to get rid of this
      message.
      Offending RSA key in /var/root/.ssh/known_hosts:1
RSA host key for 195.220.224.231 has changed and you have requested strict
      checking.
      Host key verification failed.

        Dear,

First of all please read this: http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/warning-remote-host-identification-has-changed-error-and-solution/ to understand what is happening.

Then, this is what I suppose is happening:
SSH store (on the client machine) in the ssh_known_hosts a mapping for host IP address and ssh key. In most cases you receive this error because the ip address is changed and the mapping is no more valid.
If this is the case it is sufficient to remove the first line of the file as described in the error message:
        Offending RSA key in /var/root/.ssh/known_hosts:1

        Best,
        Daniele
