      Description

      Hello,

      My account on the Fiware lab is filab@extra-consult.com
      <filab@extra-consult.com> (username Mercuun), and I'm not able to
      create a new network or router in Fiware Cloud setup. When trying to create
      a new network I receive the error:

      Cause: 409 Error - {"NeutronError": {"message": "Quota exceeded for
      resources: ['network']", "type": "OverQuota", "detail": ""}}

      When creating a new router, I receive the same:

      Cause: 409 Error - {"NeutronError": {"message": "Quota exceeded for
      resources: ['router']", "type": "OverQuota", "detail": ""}}

      I'm following the tutorial on deploying VM with Networks. I can create and
      connect to an instance with the default subnet and network
      (node-int-net-01), but we might need to create a router later on in the
      project.Is this a normal account restriction, or can this be resolved?

      Kind regards,

      Geert

        Hello Gergő,

        We’re on the Lannion2 region…probably should’ve included that to start with J

        Hello,

        By default the quotas for any region are 0 Networks and 0 routers. You could ask your region administrator to increase that quota if you REALLY need it. Maybe they could ask you for a good reason in order to know why you need it.

        Best regards,
        José Ignacio.

        Hi Geert,

        Indeed, as said by José you have to detail us your needs about using a router on your own tenant. The reason why users's router quota is 0 is that users don't need it to create their instance and have internet connectivity.
        If we allow you to create a router, it will be for internal use only (it means it won't be connected to external network).

        Please tell us more about your router needs and what would be its job in your organization.

        Best Regards,
        Erwan
