Hello,
I am taking my first steps in the world of fi-ware wire cloud.
I have been following some tutorials, but I am experiencing some issues.
For example, I have tried to build a very basic widget, and upload it, just
something basic with a text input a button, and that’s it pretty much.
But when I try to upload using my resources upload feature, it gives me an
error, saying that the config.xml file is missing, although the file being
present.
To teste it even further, I have tried to download already built widgets,
from https://github.com/crismaproject/wirecloud-widgets ,
Then as instructed I changed the zip extension to wgt, tried to upload, and
got the same error again, config.xml missing in root of widget.
Can you guide me through this issue?

Hi Nuno,
sorry for the delay, I was on holidays. The problem seems to be that you
are creating the zip file with a folder inside. The config.xml file should
be in the root of the zip file, try creating the zip file selecting all the
files/folders in the root of the widget instead of compressing the folder
itself.
