      Description

      Dear reader,

We are trying to develop a Gstreamer module for Kurento (as described on the kurento page<https://www.kurento.org/docs/current/mastering/develop_kurento_modules.html>).
However, we are having some trouble compiling the module. We are using the samplefilter code from github<https://github.com/Kurento/kms-plugin-sample>, it won't compile though. We are using kurento's latest version on a Ubuntu 14.04 machine.

The goal is to use Gstreamer to provide Kurento with images/video feed. Kurento will do some image processing/image recognition and send it eventually to the context broker.

Given the error, is appears that it is finding errors in the auto-generated code (see attachment).
Is there some more information on how to fix such a problem?

      Thanks in advance,

      Kind regards,

Module names cannot contain dash ("-") characters. If seems that you are trying to compile a module called "gst-plugin", isnt' it?. If you call your module "gstplugin" instead of "gst-plugin" this specific problem will dissapear. Let us know if this helps.
