      Description

      Hi!

I'm having some problems in the "Register a new application" section.
I have a fiware instance running in 130.206.112.180 (CentOS) for testing purposes. I have installed Orion GE with no problems (I can read and write some fake data from the mongoDB through REST services)... and now I want to test the PEP Proxy Wilma GE and the OAuth functionalities, in order to add security to the Orion API.

For this purpose, I need to register my instance as an "Application" in the lab.fiware site, so I can get an application token to include in the config.js file of PEP Proxy Wilma.
I have tried to register a new application in https://account.lab.fiware.org/idm/, but I always get the same error:

Error: Unable to register the application.

Do I need any special permission? Am I missing something in the process?
      Thank you in advance!

      Regards,
      Mario

        Hi Álvaro,

the problem is solved. Now I am able to register new applications , thanks!
Now I have the following doubt.

I have registered a new "test" application in order to test authorization-authentication in fiware (OAuth, PEP Proxy, IDM...), and I've got these credentials:

        Client ID: 689ed9115eae46beb2c1c43079beffc6

        Client Secret: cf2599c598954040ba54e9d1a83a1938
I am following this presentation I've found in Internet [1] , and the tokens shown in the example are longer, different... Are my tokens correct? Is Fiware generating tokens properly?

I would appreciate if you could provide me additional tutorials or documentation about roles security-roles management in Fiware applications.
My main idea is to protect the Orion Context API with OAuth, so only authenticated users can write/read the information from my Fiware instance via REST services... Information in [1] is kinda confusing...

Thank you in advance for the support

        Regards,
        Mario
