Subject: Fiware lab - issue with multiple members accessing common cloud
      organization
To: tech@fractals-fp7.com, John Sokianos <ysokianos@gmail.com>, zahos pap <
      zacpapac04@gmail.com>, super mario <mariosprotos@gmail.com>, Carmen Perea <
      carmen.perea@atos.net>, communityaccount@fiware.org

      Hi,

i am Dimitris Karantonis, member of the BeeZon Smart Software IoT Solution,
qualified for the fractals accelerator (BeeZon : Real Time Continuous
      Apiary Monitoring System).

I have created an account on fiware lab named "dkarantonis". Then, i
requested an account upgrade and after some days, my account finally
      upgraded to "community".
I then created an organization (via fiware lab) named "BeeZon Smart
Software IoT Solution Cloud" and added / authorized as members / owners the
other 3 members of the development team (fiware account names are
"ysokianos", "zacpapac04","mariosprotos"). So far all good. When i switch
to "BeeZon Smart Software IoT Solution Cloud" session from the top right
corner menu, i am able to access the cloud menu as expected. I have also
added a vm instance named "BeeZon-iot-orion-instance".

I have 2 really important questions though, that block our development team
to co-operate and share the created instance.

      1) The rest of the team members need to upgrade their account in order to
access the cloud menu. Why is this? Shouldn't they use the Beezon cloud
created via my account, since i authorized them to use it?
      2) The one of the team members (named "zacpapac04") has already upgraded
his account and is able to access the cloud menu. When he switches to the
"BeeZon Smart Software IoT Solution Cloud" session and navigate to the
cloud menu, he is not able to see "BeeZon-iot-orion-instance" as expected,
rather he sees his own cloud instance "zacpapac04 cloud" (created from iw
own account)... Seems like, no matter what session you switch to (via top
right corner), when navigating to the cloud menu, you only have access to
the organization created by your own fiware account.

Could you please advice on how to proceed?
Our goal is to create on cloud to be used from all team members.
Is there something we are missing or setting up incorrectly?

      BRs,
      Dimitris Karantonis

Could you provide some additional external IPs on my fiware lab account in
order to be used via 'BeeZon Cloud' organization (PiraeusN)?

        Hi Alvaro,

this issue has been fixed. The solution - beside your actions - was to
switch to the organization session and then define the users as members of
the organization in 2 forms (both Manage and Authorize).

thanks a lot for your support,

        BRs,
        Dimitris K.

As we explained in several notifications sent to the FIWARE Lab users, only the default cloud organization of each account can be used for deploying cloud resources. So please, be careful with that organization.

Can you send me the organization id you are using?

And… in which region your community account has been approved?

I think yes. I deleted it and created one with the company name in order to
        be used by the company.

Does this causes the issue mentioned in the ticket?

        Hi again,

actually i am a bit confused. What is the default organization?

        First thing first.
After your latest comments, i deleted the 'BeeZon...' cloud organization i
have created (with all resources) from the Account Portal. Then, i
navigated to the Cloud Portal, but i could not access it. The message
"Currently you are not authorized to use Cloud resources in any project..."
appeared. So, it seems like an organization has to be created in order to
        use the Cloud Portal. Correct?
In any case, what is the default cloud organization you mention?

Moreover, i created again another organization with my account, but the
        Cloud Portal is still inaccessible.
Please, note that my account is a community account.

        Hi,

an organization you create in the Account Portal cannot be used in the Cloud Portal. Only the default cloud organization of a Community or Trial user can be used. So your mistake is

You have to use your default cloud organization.

        Hi Alvaro,

indeed all 4 members of our team have performed the steps independently. Is
        still does not work.

To put it simple words, the issue we face is:

        • user_1 creates organization_1
        • user_1 authorizes user_2 as member of organization_1
        • user_2 logins and switches session to organization_1
        • user_2 navigates to the cloud menu but is not able to access
organization_1 cloud. He is able to access only his own organization cloud.
He should be able to access organization_1 cloud since he has been
          authorized. This is the problem

This way, each user has to create his own organization and cloud / vm
instances. We would like to be able to set only one organization / cloud,
create needed vm instances there to test enablers and all the other users
to be able to share and use it.

        hi again

i have upgrade to community account and have followed exactly your
instructions. The problem is that the users i have authorized to use
organization cloud, are not able to access it, neither to access vm
instances inside specific organization cloud when navigating to their cloud
