      Description

      Hello FI-Lab support.

Since it has taken us quite some time to get access to the FI-Lab Cloud platform and to get our VM instances up and running, it seems that there are now no more floating IP’s available.

We would therefor like a quota change that would give us access to two (2) floating IP addresses.

      Our node: Prague
      Out ID: 00000000000000000000000000013745

Dear Brian, we've now increased your quota for publicly routable IPv4 addresses to one. We can accommodate you with additional IPv4 addresses when needed, but in general, we require specific technical reasons for these requests.

        With kind regards,
        Jan

        Hello Danielle.

We have still not seen any quote change to our available floating IP’s.

Could You please make sure that this happens as soon as possible? We are getting uncomfortably close to our deadline for GE implementation.

        Best regards,

        Dear Brian,
I'm going to ask to our colleagues of Prague for a floating IP. As far as setting up a reverse proxy, FIWARE does not provide a preconfigured one. You may deploy it on the vm that gets the floating ip. I'd personally recommend apache with mod_proxy.

        Kind regards

        Hello Danielle.

No, we currently do not have any floating IP’s assigned.

Would the correct approach be to instantiate another VM instance that acts as a gateway, or are the “revers proxy” capabilities built in to the FI-Lab Cloud portal?

        Best regards,

        Brian René Jensen

        Dear user,
we generally assing only one floating IP, you can use a reverse proxy to manage connections towards web services running on different vms. As far as we understand you don't have any floating IP, correct?

        Kind regards
