      Description

      Hi,

I have a trial account where I'm trying to launch an image but I keep
getting the following message when I try to associate the IP.

      undefined. Cause: 400 Error

{"badRequest": {"message": "No nw_info cache associated with instance",
      "code": 400}}

      Steps so far:

      Node: Karskrona2

      Created keypair

      Allocated floating IP to project.

Added security groups. Port 22 and 1026 open.

Launched image with Orion context Broker 4.2 with above groups.

Noticed that I could not choose a network.

      Kind regards

      Kim

If you did not select a network, then you probably forgot to create one... You need a network and a router.

Have you created your own network, router and associated it with the external network?

        Hi,
This was for an account that is no longer valid to use with FIWARE cloud.
But when it was relevant the setup was done and working for a couple of
        month.
We transferred the setup to our community account after it was done last
week but we have to transfer it again because that node is to be removed
        last september.

        /K

        Hej,

If the problem was/is on another node, please leave the ticket with them. If the problem is on our node, please provide us with the project-id (the Openstack identity used), this way we can find your 'entities' as routers/networks/VMs on our node. Please verify that you have created a network and a router. Futhermore, the router needs to be attached to the external network. You should be able to ping google (8.8.8.8) for instance from your VM (use Console view from the web gui). Once thats working, then allocate a floating IP, and associate it with your VM. This should get you going. If it fails to launch the instance, try other images I usually use a simple Ubuntu derivative. Step two would be to launch the Orion Image.

        Sorry I don't understand.

We are now using our community account in the speedup project.
We had to use my trial account for a while because the community account
took so long time to get done.
We managed to get that account working a long time ago.
Everything worked and works fine after som struggling except that the
Stockholm node now all of a sudden is about to be removed and we need to
move our data once again due to changes in the infrastructure that we cant
        affect.
        Just frustrated, thats all.

*Close this ticket as it was relevant long time ago but there was no answer
back then so we had to solve it by our selves.*
There is no issue any more.

        /Kim
