      Description

      Hi,

I am a professor at the university of Santiago de Compostela.
Next year I will teach a master's course on IoT and would like to use
Fi-Lab during the course. How can I open an account?
Should I request a community account upgrade?

      Best regards,
      Paula

        Dear user,
The correct way to request an account in FIWARE is:

        1) sign up for a trial account here: https://account.lab.fiware.org/
        2) request a community account upgrade here: https://account.lab.fiware.org/
        3) while requesting you account upgrade please specify:
        a) the FIWARE node you'd like to work on
        b) the virtual resources you require
        c) tell us about your project/reasearch

If you are unsure about the resources you require you can ask for a default minumum quota.

Step 3 will automatically open an account upgrade request on JIRA.

        Kind regards
