We apologise for not answering before, we had some problems in managing our ticketing system, however better answer now than never.

Thanks for your proposal. From FIWARE we are open to collaborate and promote the use of FIWARE platform http://www.fiware.org/ as much as possible. So, we need to evaluate if we can commit resources but if you are willing to use FIWARE GEs if you are willing to use FIWARE GEs http://catalogue.fiware.org/ you can check these here.

However, it’s important to recall that you are a University and only SMEs from Europe can apply to the Open Calls that are offered by the accelerators.

And if you would like to see if there will be more initiatives from the European Commission to find more accelerators, we are not sure about it. We cannot answer this at this stage. However, if you want to contribute to FIWARE, the answer is different. We intend to open it up to a future open source community but this will happen soon, when we create governance rules etc. This is now under internal discussion but it is a formal commitment for the FIWARE partners so it will be done this year. And we hope to have more news soon.

My name is Peter Dietrich, and I'm one of the managers of a Hungarian training and mentor program (Spin-off Klub) running since 2008. We are focusing on helping university and PhD students to become entrepreneurs so far more than 2.000 people attended our courses.

We have seen taht there are quite a number of very good ideas that could further be developed, but they don't have the necessary help to move forward. We have started raising a fund but we see that networks are even more valuable than money.

We have been trying to address this issue, and we see that being a part of an international group could help us reach our goals.

Our main focus is the Food Science / Technology, as we are originating from Corvinus University which is one of the most known Hungarian University for Economics and also for Food Science.

We have seen that you already have five accelerators in this field, but from Hungary or from the neighboring EU countries.

Can you please tell us, if there is an opportunity now or in the future to become a FIWARE accelerator, incubator in the Field of Agrifood and Manufacturing, logistics or if there is a possibility to join a group?
