      Description

      Dear,

I have a few questions about the Fiware Revenue Settlement and Sharing
System enabler. I tried to use the instance available at
http://rss.lab.fiware.org:8080/fiware-rss/rss, but it seems that I need an
authentication token in order to successfully send requests to this
endpoint. It is unclear to me how to acquire this token. Can you help me
      with this?

I also tried installing the RSS enabler on our own infrastructure. After
completing the installation guide, the following request fails with the
error provided in the attached log:

      *"curl -X GET -H 'Content-Type: application/json' -H 'Accept:
      application/json'
      http://host:port/fiware-rss/rss/rsModelsMgmt?appproviderId=conwet"*

Can you help me debug this problem or point me to an available RSS instance
with full access? Thanks on advance.

      With kind regards,
      Jens

        Dear Jens,

The RSS GE is highly integrated with the Store, In this regard, the RSS administration page has to be seen as part of the administration of the Store GE. So to access the RSS instance deployed in http://rss.lab.fiware.org:8080/fiware-rss It is required to be an admin. Please take into account that from this page it is possible to manage the transactions of the different providers.

Regarding, the problem you are facing it seems that the RSS is not able to access the database due to a permission error. Have you configured MySQL credentials in the RSS properties?
The version of the software that is published is quite outdated. We (UPM) take the ownership of the GE from TID a few months ago, but we haven't published a version yet. The version we are working on, allows to manage permissions of users, so admins of different stores can manage their transactions in an isolated way. Moreover, service providers (not admins) will be able to create and bind to offerings their revenue sharing models. This version will also support revenue sharing models involving multiple providers and stakeholders.

The new version of the software will be available by the end of the summer.

If you have any doubt do not hesitate to ask.

        Best regards,
        Francisco
